Message from our Chief HR Officer

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Etisalat Afghanistan Human Resources portal.

We consider our employees the biggest asset of our company. They are the prime agents of our productivity and we continue to invest on their learning and development. Our focus is the recruitment and development of the local talent, the future of Afghanistan.

Our efforts go well beyond hiring. We aim at developing our employees extensively through very structured induction and development programmes. In this regard, we have successfully launched several key programmes like the Graduate Trainee Program, Succession Development Program, HiPo Program, Education Assistance Program and Internship Program to name a few.

We understand that the development of our people, especially local Afghans, is the key lever of organizational effectiveness especially in the hearts and minds of the proud Afghans. In this regard, we have provided extensive learning and development opportunities to our local staff, like training and development programmes here in Kabul, through our in-house training institute and abroad. We have also made a historic training agreement with Etisalat Academy, UAE, under which numerous technical, soft skills and knowledge oriented trainings have been imparted to our employees. We have also engaged the services of other world renowned training institutes to provide our employees with state-of-the-art trainings. We take pride in the fact that our training average per employees is almost double the world's standard average.

In addition to the development of our employees, we also provide unmatched benefits. This year we have given up to 7 Bonus Pays to our employees. We have given an average 15% raise in the salaries to all our local employees – our backbone. We provide not only medical coverage for our employees and their dependants, but have now extended this to cover medical expenses incurred for any treatment abroad. To further support our local female employees, especially new mothers, we have established an on-site Nursery at our head office to take care of their infants.

Partnering in the development of Local Youth, we have launched a "National Internship Programme". Under this program the final year students of the top three universities of Kabul are being interned for a period of three months. With this programme we hope to provide the youth, the future of Afghanistan, the opportunity to gain hands on experience in working for a multinational corporate organization. Through this, we will hopefully develop the future talent for better roles within organizations, wherever they may work.

Thank you for visiting our website and HR portal. If you are interested to join us and become a member of the Etisalat family and help towards building Afghanistan's future today, please proceed to visit our job application section.

The choice is yours. The future is yours!

Regards,

Ismail Taha
